And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so. Genesis 1:24
In His hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind. Job 12:10
How many are your works, LORD! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures. Psalm 104:24
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom. Isaiah 40:28
The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. Colossians 1:15-17
Father, We praise and thank You for the diversity of creation. Sizes, shapes, colors, and textures. Beautiful. Interesting. Fascinating. Funny. Help us to take our focus off of our stuff - televisions, computers, phones, etc. - to pause and see the things You continue to create each and everyday. May we notice sunsets and sunrise. May we listen for chirping and chattering. May we praise You in the silence of snowfall and the glow of rainbows. Forgive us for the way we hurry through life, failing to stop and notice. Help us to see You in the things You have made. We praise and glorify You our Creator and Lord. Amen.
