My dh and I had the privilege of attending a performance of Cirque Dreams last night. All I can say is, Wow! We have never seen anything quite like it. The physical strength of the performers blew us away. The costuming is imaginative, and the set and music engaging.
I found myself unable to take my eyes off the stage, and yet at moments throwing my hands up to my face with the expectation that some disaster was about to occur. There were no disasters! The choreography is done to perfection. Every bend, twist, lift, flight, and wiggle was synchronized to the beat of beautiful music.
